VOTE INFORMED! Using ‘Olelo Community Media’s VOTE CENTRAL Webpage

Image‘Olelo has launched the Vote Informed webpage olelo.org/vote and it is truly a fantastic tool for Hawai’i residents to get better informed on the issues and candidates that will shape Hawai’i’s future.  Take the time to visit and provide feedback on issues impacting our community.

Here’s what you’ll find on Vote Informed:

VOTER INFO – Important links to voter info & registration forms, partnering groups such as League of Women Voters’ in-depth info on candidates, and other broadcast station coverage.

ELECTION PROGRAMMING – Online access to the largest amount of community produced election programming in the state of Hawai’i and a snapshot listing of future scheduled coverage.

CANDIDATES IN FOCUS – Airdates and direct links to participating candidate speeches.

FORUMS AND DEBATES – Video links to the most current coverage of election forums and debates.

VOTER VIEWPOINT – Panel discussions on Traffic, Education, Poverty, Sustainability, Aging, Campaign Spending, Taxes, Unfunded Liabilities, economic development and Hawaiian Affairs, with an invitation for the public to share their views on-line.

GET OUT AND VOTE CONTEST – Our island wide PSA video contest that encourage Hawai’i residents to vote. Winner receives a Nikon digital camera!
